What are germiest spots in your house and how should you clean them? - House Cleaning Highlands Ranch

There are germs everywhere either inside the house or outside the house. No matter how much you keep the house clean still you will find germs in the house and we give anything to get rid of these germs, but there are certain places or things in the house that are more covered with germs than anything else.

House Cleaning Highlands Ranch has some tips on which things are more covered in germs then the other and how to keep them germ free.

1. Toothbrush holder

When house cleaning, we usually neglect cleaning the toothbrush holder even when we do the deep cleaning of the bathroom. Toothbrush holder is the most germiest thing in your bathroom, it contains more germs than your toilet seat. During house cleaning, it is recommended that you wash your toothbrush holder once a week, if you have a dishwasher safe toothbrush holder then the cleaning comes in very handy and is easy to do just by placing the toothbrush holder in the dishwasher. If not then manually clean your toothbrush holder by removing all the parts with hot soapy water this will most definitely remove all the germs from the toothbrush holder.

2. Handles and switches

During house cleaning, it would have never clicked to use that handles or switches can also carry any germs, but it is true and these are the most common place where germs lurk as throughout the day we touch these two things multiple times and without even noticing what we touched before touching the handles and switches and these are mostly overlooked while cleaning. When house cleaning, it is recommended that you include the cleaning of the switches and handles in your daily cleaning routine, all you need to do is take your favorite cleaning product spray it on the microfiber cloth and then wipe the handles and switches as you go about cleaning your household.

3. Handbags

When house cleaning, we have observed it many times that whenever we come from outside we tend to place our handbags or backpacks on the countertops or table tops, which is totally wrong. We can’t even imagine how much are backpacks are covered in germs, especially the bottom part. If we think about all the places our bags have been, so they are a hit in capturing all the germs. When house cleaning, it is recommended that you spray your bag with a disinfecting spray once a week and then wipe it or carry disinfecting wipes to clean your bags, if you have a leather bag then arrange for specified product for cleaning.

4. Dish sponge

When house cleaning, dish sponge is also another thing around the house that is covered in germs as it is used to remove the gunk from the dishes all the time and then remains wet all the time you can wash the dish sponge with hot water to disinfect it, you should replace the sponge on the monthly basis.
